Chanel F/W 2013-2014: Karl’s Rocks!!

Chanel has always been one of my favorite maison, namely Gabrielle Chanel was and always will be, my source of inspiration, and be able to attend for the first time  the Paris show was a thrill. Leaving the pleasantries and entering the details Karl brought a young collection, bold and innovative. He wanted to upset the classic tweed jacket, using chains, lifting up the neck and in some models expanding balloon sleeves. The woman of Karl is undoubtedly influenced by the “Rock Mood” cuissards blacks and whites alternating with cleavage chains and Parisian extra long. The “lego” bag in  bag of S/S 2013 collection is revived with tweed inserts, new enty the Globe Bag, the inspiration for a traveler woman . This time Karl wanted to dare much more compared to previous collection, at the historical moment when fashion moves back and becomes more austere, Karl stands out for its contrast that seems me is the winning choice.

Chanel è sempre stato una delle mie maison preferite, più precisamente Gabrielle Chanel è stata e lo sarà sempre, la mia fonte d’ispirazione; e poter assistere per la prima volta alla sfilata parigina è stata una grande emozione. Lasciando i convenevoli ed entrando nei dettagli  Karl ha proposto una collezione giovane, audace ed innovativa. Ha voluto stravolgere la classica giacca in tweed, applicando catene, alzando il collo a dismisura e in alcuni modelli ampliando le maniche a palloncino. La donna di Karl è senza dubbio influenzata dal “Rock Mood”: cuissards neri e bianchi si alternano a decolletè con catene e parigine extra long. La “lego”bag così ribattezzata nella collezione S/S2013 viene riproposta con inserti in tweed, new enty la Globo Bag, d’ispirazione per la donna viaggiatrice. Questa volta Karl ha voluto osare molto di più rispetto alle scorse collezione, nel momento storico in cui la moda indietreggia e diventa più austera, Karl si distingue per la sua controtendenza che a pare mio è la scelta vincente.
