Summer 2014: Fringe

Fringe are my passion, I like it on bags, jackets, dresses.
Fringe come back in vogue in sixties with the hippie mood, but first who make up this kind of particular style were the american natives.
They used to wore fringe vest for men or fringe skirt for women.
Now fringe are the protagonist of a lot of collection by the most famous designers.
Roberto Cavalli made fringe his personal logo and he is famous for the long dreaming dress of course with fringes. As you can see here:

Now other fashion designer decide to use fringe in their collection, for example Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren and more.
When you think about fringe your mind goes to Hippie movement of sixties.
In these two looks you can find a lot of clothes and accessories with fringe that you can mix together.

Estate 2014: parola d’ordine frange

Le frange sono la mia passione, le amo applicate sulle borse, giacche e vestiti.
Le frange sono tornate di moda intorno agli anni sessanta/settanta con gli hippy che erano soliti indossare gilet di pelle con frange e le ragazze amavano indossare vestiti di pizzo anch’essi con frange, ma antecedenti a loro troviamo i nativi americani, ovvero gli indiani che erano soliti indossare vesti ricoperte di frange, ancora oggi sono famosi i Minnetonka, stivali in camoscio d’origine indiana con frange applicate.
Molti stilisti di pret à porter ed Haute couture utilizzano questo accessorio per adornare i vestiti, tra i più famosi Roberto cavalli che ne ha fatto un vero e proprio marchio di fabbrica (come vedete qui: roberto-cavalli-fw-2013 ).
Anche altri stilisti hanno utilizzato le frange nelle loro collezioni come ad esempio Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren e molti altri.
Quando si pensa alle frange inevitabilmente la nostra mente collega questo accessorio al tempo degli hippie .
