Versus Fashion Show S/S 2013 and After Party
The Fashion Show of Versus opened with a live performance by Beth Ditto. The collection for the upcoming season offers bright colors ranging from pink to yellow. The chain is the focal point, which is used not only as an accessory, it becomes an integral part of the dress. Return to patriotism with the tricolor in both accessories and clothing. Vintage geometric patterns juxtaposed with cuts much more modern. For the fashion show and for the party I wanted to completely reinvent two dresses. I wore a short dress from Asos that I combined with the long skirt from Zara. A simple change and you have a completely different dress. As an accessory collier de chien from Hermès matching with the Holiday Chanel nail polish and the Pirate Rouge Allure lipstick always by the French maison.

Black and White in high Waist
I wore a retro-style look vaguely inspired by a young Sophia Loren. Shorts by high waist from the early 90′s, stolen from my mom’s closet ten years ago, quite sure that would be back in fashion. I paired the shorts with a tight vest of H & M, very versatility and always to have in your wardrobe. Framing the decollete a necklace made entirely by hand from Viridì. Nail polish Holiday and lipstick Rouge Allure MonteCarlo both of the House of Chanel. CONTINUE READING

“Electric Flower Power”
Fluorescent colors, floral patterns and electric shades are the must for this season. I created this look ”dusting off” items lying in the closet for over two years, including Gillets flower of Versace dating back to the ’90s that is very similar to that proposed again by the maison this year for his collaboration with H & M. The skirt and top are of TANK, I remember I bought the complete more than four years ago for a ridiculously low price of 20 euros and shockingly I wore it the first time in this outfit. Demonstration: even with a limited budget, or even ”emptying” the closets you canbe fashionable.

Paris Haute Couture
Comincia la settimana dell’alta moda Parigina.
La kermesse viene aperta da Versace che dopo ben otto anni torna a sfilare nella capitale francese.
La Maison italiana ha presentato una collezione dai colori vivaci , sempre stati simbolo distintivo di questo marchio, abiti fatiscenti si mescolano alla perfezione con playsuit esuberanti e sgargiantissime.
Spacchi, scollature e vertiginose schiene scoperte sono l’emblema della Haute Couture per Versace.
In tempi di recessione la Maison va controcorrente ed è pronta per le luci della ribalta , strategia azzardata o ben elaborata?
Ai posteri l’ardua sentenza .
Sfarzo, ricercata eleganza e voglia di contraddistinguersi sono le caratteristiche dell’alta moda parigina, dove nulla è visto come eccesso ma bensì come arte e genialità, ma sarà poi così vero?
