Moncler Fashion Show Fall-Winter 2013/14

On Sunday I attended the fashion show of Moncler . I have to admit that the setting up of the catwalk was very impressive and it recalled to battlefield, where here and there lay the armor of the knights defeated. The collection was inspired by Brave Heart, the models marched in kilts led with long sticks as swords. A very strong and different collection from previous ones. The Kilt is one of the fundamental elements of this line, in fact it is incorporated on jackets. The Scottish patterns dominate the catwalk, ranging from gray to blue up to the red. Only one sore point: too many invitations than the capacity of the location, guests sat on the edge of the catwalk and piled up against the walls.

Domenica ho assistito alla sfilata maschile di Moncler. Devo ammettere che l’allestimento della passerella è stato molto suggestivo ricordava un campo di battaglia, dove qua e là giacevano le armature dei cavalieri sconfitti. La collezione prende ispirazione da Brave Heart, i modelli hanno sfilato in kilt con lunghi bastoni portati come spade. Una collezione molto forte e ben diversa dalle precedenti. Il Kilt è uno degli elementi fondamentali di questa linea, esso infatti viene  incorporato come elemento ornativo sulle giacche. Le fantasie scozzesi dominano la passerella e spaziano dal grigio, all’azzurro fino ad arrivare al rosso. Unico punto dolente: troppi inviti rispetto alla capienza della location, invitati seduti ai bordi della passerella e ammucchiati contro i muri.
