Like an Upper East side Girl

Fashion is like a stage and we are the actors and actresses who day after day interpreted different roles. Many times choose a dress is how to choose the part for an actress. There is a bad day where everything is black and even our clothing is black. Then there’s the warm and sunny morning, where  immediately emerges the desire to wear something romantic . The mood dictates our choices, that’s why I decided to wear this look, I wanted to feel romantic but at the same time like a  “business woman”. For this reason I chose a dress made ​​up of a tweed skirt and silk blouse, a typical outfit Girl from the Upper East Side or in modern terms we could call it a “Blair look ” . What do you think of the result? Of course is better to wear the dress with not so high heels during the day because with high one will be too excessive…

La moda è  un palcoscenico e noi siamo le attrici e gli  attori che giorno dopo giorno interpretano ruoli diversi.  Molte volte scegliere un vestito  è come scegliere la parte  per un’attrice. C’è la giornata storta dove tutto è nero e anche il nostro vestiario è nero. Poi c’è la mattina assolata e calda, dove subito emerge la voglia di indossare qualcosa di romantico e primaverile. L’umore detta le nostre scelte, ecco perchè ho deciso di indossare questo look, avevo voglia di sentirmi romantica ma allo stesso tempo “business woman”. Per questo ho scelto un vestitino composto da una gonna in tweed e camicetta di seta, tipico outfit da Upper East side Girl o in termini più moderni potremmo definirlo un look “alla Blair”. Cosa ne pensate del risultato? Chiaramente per poterlo indossare durante il giorno il tacchi non devono essere eccessivamente altri altrimenti tutto l’insieme potrebbe risultare troppo eccessivo…
