CHANEL HAUTE COUTURE FALL/WINTER 2013-2014

Hard to amaze and surprise, Chanel will always succeed. Karl present the Haute couture collection in a post-apocalyptic theatre  with a view towards the “new world”. A scene full of concepts which is linked to our historical period of decline and crisis, but at the same time gives you a feeling of a more propitious future. In this hypothetical world, the Chanel woman wears  a A-line dress and the silhouette is softer. The accessories “make” the clothes, these are matched with huge belts and cuissards, that we have already seen in the pret à porter collection  f/w 2013.  The waist of the dresses is lowers, the skirts become larger and more structured . The tweed is the protagonist of this line.

Difficile sbalordire e sorprendere, Chanel ci riesce sempre. Karl presenta la Haute couture in un teatro post apocalittico con uno “spaccato sul nuovo mondo”. Una scenografia ricca di concetti e che si ricollega pienamente al nostro periodo storico di decadenza e crisi, ma allo stesso tempo da una speranza su un futuro più propizio. In questo ipotetico mondo la donna Chanel indossa A-line dress, la silhouette è più morbida. Gli accessori sono gli abiti stessi abbinati ad enormi cinturoni e cuissards che abbiamo già visto sfilare per la collezione pret à porter f/w 2013. Il punto vita si abbassa sui fianchi e le gonne diventano più ampie e strutturate. Il tweed è il protagonista indiscusso della collezione F/W 2013-14.
