“L’importanze di essere in auge” o meglio “l’importanza di essere in Vogue” ?
Gioco di parole o il semplice connubio di due significati in uno?
Se prima ad essere di moda erano solo gli accessori ora vanno di moda anche le persone.
Se sei in Vogue matematicamente sei alla moda e sei un personaggio da seguire anche se nella piramide sei posizionata allo scalino più basso, perchè sei l’amica dell’amica che lavora per la rivista. L’importante è esserci per poi cominciare la scalata o almeno è così che funziona.
A quanto pare non importa l’esperienza lavorativa, gli anni di studio e sacrificio, l’importante è avere gli amici giusti poi un posto te lo trovano. Magari non potrai aspirare ad arrivare al livello di Franca Sozzani, che un cervello lo possiede e gli studi li ha fatti, ma un posto lo trovi.

Chi influenza veramente il popolo dei fashion victims?
Certo dopo l’uscita di “September Issue” la nebbia un pochino si è dissipata, ma avete capito chi è realmente in auge?
Non di certo le simil Editors vestite come delle circensi che si fanno fotografare fuori dalle sfilate con tutto il loro prologo di giullari.
Chi tesse le fila di tutto è nascosto dietro il sipario.
A teatro non sono le marionette che fanno lo spettacolo, il vero artefice è chi muove i fili…
Rimasi stranamente stupita ed un po’ scossa quando ad una sfilata mi ritrovai ad uscire al fianco di Franca Sozzani, indossava un vestito semplice con un paio di ballerine, all’uscita uno stuolo di fotografi intenti a scattare foto ai soliti ignoti vestiti nel modo più assurdo ed improponibile. Con nochalance si è fatta strada tra la folla e senza battere un ciglio è salita in macchina senza guardarsi intorno, tutti l’hanno guardata ma nessuno l’ha fotografata o meglio si è permesso di farlo. All’inizio mi sono chiesta più volte il perchè di questo comportamento generale, poi ho capito.
