Istanbul: The old city

From December 29 I am in Istanbul with my three best friends, this place has always fascinated me and I finally found the right opportunity to visit it. The city is huge and fortunately taxis are inexpensive, if you don’t choose the right hours there is the risk to remain in the queue hours. The photos you see here were taken in the old part of the city where you will find the Blue Mosque (photo down), Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern (photo below) built by Justinian and is a show to see if we think how much time before it was made. In the coming days I will reveal Istanbul in all its beauty. Good day, are you ready for the return to the city and to work?

Dal 29 dicembre mi trovo ad Istanbul con i miei tre migliori amici, questo luogo mi ha sempre affascinato e finalmente ho trovato l’occasione giusta per visitarlo. La città è immensa e fortunatamente i taxi sono poco costosi, se gli orario non sono quelli giusti c’è il rischio di rimanere in coda le ore. Le foto che vedete qui sono state scattate nella parte vecchia della città dove si trova la moschea blu (foto a scendere), Santa Sofia, la cisterna della basilica (foto a seguire) costruita da Giustiniano e vederla è uno spettacolo se pensiamo a quanto tempo addietro è stata realizzata. Nei prossimi giorni vi svelerò Istanbul in tutta la sua bellezza. Buona giornata, siete pronti per il ritorno in città ed al lavoro?
