The Ugly Truth of V was founded in 2011 by Virginia Varinelli.

The Ugly Truth of V is one of the most influencial blog in Italy, and one of the biggest names worldwide thanks to it’s vast international reach.

The aim of this fashion blog, if we can call it in this way, is to tell the truth about fashion and sometimes truth is not what you would hear.

Virginia’s Story starts when she was three year’s old and she met her mother’s high heels, from that moment the passion regarding fashion grow up inside Virginia as she become a young woman, but she never thought that her big passion could be her work so she decide to attend the Bocconi University of Economics and she graduated in 2010 with a very good rating.

Virginia wears   multiple hats : influencer, fashion editor, fashion designer for Viridì, owner of V3V ( digital and consulting agency), and Chief Media Relations and Communication for Oboxo. She embodies the european elegant and luxurious style, by wearing and working with a very selective variety of high end brands.

The Ugly Truth of V  is composed by a Team of five people, including a professional photographer, a graphic design, a super assistant, a Jolly man and of course by Virginia.
We love to call our team Didi’s Crew, Didi is the nickname of Virginia since she was born, much more details in Virginia’s Bio.
In three years of The Ugly Truth of V, the aim and the soul of Virginia’s ideas never changed and for that reason TGTOV is constantly increase followers and site views.

In 2013 We starts a very important collaborations with few American Brand and Virginia took part to a important shooting for L’OFFICIEL ITALIA in collaboration with CHANEL.

In 2014 Our team decided to open the luxury category and we have worked with Pomellato and Van Cleef Arpels.

She become one of the testimonial for the brand J&C JackyCeline

In 2015 Virginia started a collaboration with Glamour.it as Fashion Contributor that still exist and here you can find her articles for Glamour.it
In 2015 Virginia started also a collaboration with Vanityfair as Fashion Fitness contributor: L’allenamento one to one
Zuma Burst , Antygravity Yoga , The Grid , The Zuuand Water Crossfit
In the same year Virginia started also a collaboration with Luxottica and the RCS Group for Il tempo delle donne .
She also did a collaboration with IODonna and Dodo where she wrote a series of article regarding Dodo for the magazine.
She started a collaboration with Gucci for Serravalle Outlet
Virginia partecipated at the Pitti for a collaboration with Oxydo.
She partecipated at the opening of the Chanel Boutique in Florence.
She also be part of the team that discover the new Boutique Effimera Chanel in Rome.
In September 2015 She partecipated at the Fidenza Village project.
In October 2015 She decides to open a new site regarding the Equestrian World.
In November 2015 She collaborated with UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON
IN December 2015 She partecipated at Noventa del Piave Project
